ISPO Conference 2023

The Dutch Pilots, Amsterdam-IJmond region were honoured to host the ISPO Conference this year. 

The conference gives us all the platform to discuss effectiveness of previous amendments, debate proposed new changes and to look long term to keep ISPO the choice SMS for pilot organizations around the world.

ISPO focus on improving safety, quality and providing transparency in pilot standards to all ports related to stakeholders.

For the first time, a theme was used for the conference, Emergency Preparedness.

In their presentations, speakers at the conference provided insight into the consequences that a pilot organization faces in the event of a serious incident. Topics, such as dealing with authorities, lawyers, insurance, press, security council, human factors, training, crisis stress trauma, etc. have been extensively discussed and the relationship was with ISPO chapters.
