Captain Tjitte de Groot – former chairman of the regional pilot corporation Rotterdam-Rijnmond – will give an insight into the response to the 'Bow Jubail' incident in which more than 200 tons of fuel oil ended up in the port of Rotterdam in 2018.
We are also delighted to announce Captain John Pearn - Milford Haven pilot, former Chairman UKMPA and vice president of IMPA. John will tell us how we can learn from and improve pilot training after an incident.
We will be introducing the other keynote speakers at regular intervals over the coming weeks.
