ISPO 2023: last few places!
There are still a few places available for the ISPO Annual Conference 2023, which this year will be held in Amsterdam on 11/12 October.
The theme of this annual conference is Crisis Management. Or, in other words, how should pilot organizations respond to and deal with a serious incident?
We are delighted that several renowned experts will present at the conference. Namely: Mr. Neil Clark (Integrated Human Factors Ltd), Mr. Ron Damstra (Dutch Safety Board), Capt. Adrian Scales (Brookes Bell), Mrs. Capt. Karolina Cirjak (KC Maritime Consultancy Ltd.), Mr. Rick Janse (Le Cocq Blok Sandrik), Mr. Peter van Loon (expert in the field of crisis, stress and trauma), Mrs. Milembe Mateyo (Port of Amsterdam), Capt. Tjitte de Groot (Dutch Pilotage Service), Capt. John Pearn (Milford Haven Pilot), Capt. Matt Easton (Chairman IUG) and Wouter Jong (Leiden University).
ISPO (International Standard for Maritime Pilot Organizations) is the standard of best practice for pilot organizations, aimed at improving safety and quality. It provides self-regulation and transparency to all port related stakeholders.
