To maintain and further develop ISPO, active involvement from the pilot community is essential. Maritime pilot organizations that are ISPO certified are required to become members of the IUG.
ISPO is a standard for pilots, by pilots. Through IUG membership, organizations can contribute to the continuous improvement of the ISPO standard and have voting rights at the annual Meeting of Associates.
The annual membership fee is determined by the IUG Board and amounts to €45 per pilot in 2026.
